Come read with us!

The Two Rivers Unitarian-Universalist Book Club gets together once a month to discuss a book we’ve all just read. We try to mix up fiction and nonfiction. Any TRUU member can join, and guests are welcome to try out the group. There’s no charge to participate.

When and Where

We meet at a member’s home on a  round-robin basis, with different volunteers offering to host. We meet around 5:30, but we don’t meet during July, August and December.

Guests bring a snack to share and usually, there are so many goodies the snacks substitute for our dinner. The conversation is interesting, and the book club offers a great way to make new friends, as well as to deepen relationships with acquaintances.

How to Join

If you’d like to try out the group, phone Tilly Maddux. Tilly will let you know which book the group will be discussing, and she will add your name to an email list. You will receive a reminder a week before the upcoming meeting.

When you get the email, you’re expected to contact the book club host to RSVP, so that s/he can prepare enough seats and space for the group.
