SUMMARY:"Harriet and Moses: From Hush Harbors to the Far Horizon" by Aaron Brown
DESCRIPTION:Freedom is not only a political condition—it is a spiritual practice. This Sunday\, we draw wisdom from two great guides to liberation: Harriet Tubman and Moses. Each walked a path shaped by instinct\, faith\, and an inner transformation that allowed them to lead others toward freedom. From the hidden gatherings of the Hush Harbors to the nomadic seeking of the desert\, we’ll explore how true liberation begins within and is sustained by a vision larger than any one person. Come reflect on the inward journey of courage\, the power of deep knowing\, and the horizon of freedom still calling us home.  Music by Micha Schoepe & Paul Dankers.

SUMMARY:"The Play of Freedom" by Aaron Brown
DESCRIPTION:Continuing this month’s exploration of freedom\, we will further investigate the paradox that the deepest form of liberation may begin not with changing the world around us\, but with finding and aligning with its underlying truths. When we are no longer controlled by attachment—whether to pleasure or ideology\, to success or even suffering—we begin to see that freedom is not something given or taken. It is something remembered. Join us as we consider what becomes possible when we stop clinging and start playing in the great unfolding of life.

SUMMARY:"A Conservative View of Social Justice: Exploring Common Ground" by Caleb Waller
DESCRIPTION:TRUU is a caring and open-minded community of brave\, curious and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith\, ethnicity\, history and spirituality but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good.    On June 22nd Caleb will offer us an opportunity to practice open-minded listening\, curiosity and understanding by talking with us about his views of what a socially just world would look like and ways in which he thinks we can move closer to making that world a reality. \nCaleb Waller lives in Silt with his wife Kendra and their seven children.  He runs River Nest Resort\, works in the financial industry and is active in local politics as a Republican.  He advocates for policies that he believes strengthen local communities and businesses. Caleb also spent 14 years in Israel\, working on agricultural projects that he hoped would minimize violence between Jewish settlers and Palestinians.   He is a Christian who tries to live in ways he believes Jesus wants him to live.  You can read his columns in the Post-Independent here and here.
