Two Rivers Unitarian Universalist

The General Assembly (GA) of the Unitarian Universalist Association will explore the power, possibility, purpose, struggle, and joy of finding the path forward together as Unitarian Universalists. During this time of rapid change, the collective practice of our faith evolves and adapts to follow that path. The UUA Board of Trustees has passed a resolution to make the 2020 General Assembly a 100% virtual event.

The Sunday morning service at GA largest annual gathering of UUs joining in worship. TRUU will join this service, always a moving event, featuring the best and brightest speakers and musicians in our denomination.

TRUU will host a “watch party” of the service (which happens on the east coast at 8 am Mountain Time) during our regular 10 am Sunday Worship time. By 10 am, the service will have been recorded on YouTube, and we will stream it from our Facebook group and be able to interact with one another via chat. After the service, we will have our coffee hour on Zoom, and that invitation will be in your TRUU email. Here’s where the Sunday GA Service will take place on Facebook:

Each year a talented group of choral singers perform at the Sunday Morning Worship for the General Assembly audience, and this service will also include a collection for the Tomaquag Museum, an indigenous museum featuring an extensive collection and archive of Southern New England tribal communities.
