Rev. Norris offers a reflection on the power and difficulty of Nonviolent Resistance to injustice. A method of change which is universally praised and rarely well-practiced, Unitarian Universalism has a deep connection to non-violence. We will ask the question, why (and how) do we go about doing things the hard way. This service will be live and in-person at Third Street Center (and also on Zoom). Rev. Norris will be in Carbondale in-person. Susan Proctor serves as worship associate.

IN-PERSON & ZOOM SERVICES: Our 10 am, Sunday morning service is always accessible via Zoom, and at least once a month, we meet in person. The in-person services are always labeled as live on this website.

IN-PERSON SAFETY: TRUU is having live services at Third Street Center at least once a month. Fully vaccinated people are welcome to attend. In addition, those who are not vaccinated, feel at high risk and those who can’t easily get here are welcome to watch our services Sunday mornings at 10am via Zoom. Videos of our services will also be posted here on our website, on the Sermon Archive page.
