Join us for a Fellowship Service, led by Susan Cashel and Susan Proctor this Sunday at 10 am in the Calaway Room at Third Street Center in Carbondale.

Also known in UU circles as “covenant groups” and “chalice circles,” these services allow participants to reflect on and discuss significant life topics. This Sunday, we will reflect on the themes from the past month, Ambiguity and Paradox, and take turns reading from The Common Bowl. This exercise invites us to read aloud and share quotes after drawing them from a common bowl. Some quotes are more heartfelt, some more spiritual, others more intellectual. You are invited to come listen and share with an open ear and and open heart.

(Note: There will be no streaming online via Zoom or Facebook for this service. We welcome you back in-person, or online, next Sunday for our annual Water Communion Ceremony!)

IN-PERSON SAFETY: TRUU is now back to having live in-person services every Sunday of the month at Third Street Center. Masks are no longer required for attending our in-person events. Please make your decision to wear a mask based on your personal needs and in consideration of the needs of others. All of our services, with the exception of Fellowship Services, will also be streamed online via Facebook and Zoom. The Zoom link is the same each week (information below). Videos of our services will also be posted here on our website, on the Sermon Archive page.

Coffee hour will be held after Sunday services when Rev. Norris is present, provided that enough volunteers have been recruited to adequately prepare and execute this popular social event.
