Fellowship Service on “Resilience” with Nicolette Toussaint, Live In-Person Service (no Zoom)
Date(s) - 02/05/2023
10:00 am - 11:00 am
Third Street Center
Join us for a Fellowship Service on the theme of “Resilience,” led by Nicolette Toussaint this Sunday at 10 am in the Calaway Room at Third Street Center in Carbondale. Also known in UU circles as “covenant groups” and “chalice circles,” these services allow participants to reflect on and discuss significant life topics. This Sunday, we will reflect on the theme for this month, Resilience.
(Note: This service will take place live in-person at Third Street Center. There will be no streaming online via Zoom or Facebook for this service.)
IN-PERSON SAFETY: The Board has decided to require masks be worn for all in person services and events. We based this on the current surge of cases in the Tripledemic, and are following the recommendations of many public health authorities. We will be providing a box of masks at the door for those who do not have them, and will be paying close attention to trends and public health advisories. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. All of our services, with the exception of Fellowship Services, will also be streamed online each Sunday via Facebook and most Sunays, via Zoom. The Zoom link is the same each week (information below). Videos of our services will also be posted here on our website, on the Sermon Archive page.
Coffee hour will be held after Sunday services when Rev. Norris is present, provided that enough volunteers have been recruited to adequately prepare and execute this popular social event.
