Join us for a big community celebration to welcome the return of the sun! The whole valley is invited the evening of Friday, Dec. 20.
As we do each year at this time, we will honor earth-based tradition by invoking the four directions and explore the meaning of the solstice in the Round Room at Third Street Center. Reverend Laurie Bushbaum will lead the worship service, which is entitled “To Know the Dark, Go Dark.” Following the ceremony, Nicolette Toussaint will lead our spiral dance around the bonfire. (Bring your hat and gloves and dress warmly!)
After that, we will enjoy hot cocoa, cookies and carols in the Calaway Room.
