It is going to be hard to say good-bye because I have really enjoyed getting to know you these last two years. TRUU is a dynamic and warmly welcoming community composed of very interesting and caring people. It has been an honor and pleasure to serve as your minister. Heather, Jimmy, and those who have taken on leadership work hard and do a wonderful job. They deserve your support and your participation in helping TRUU function as a community. I am hopeful for your future development and bless your efforts to get a new minister. You will remain in my heart with dear affection and in my mind as a source of inspiration; you are mingled in my soul. Epictetus, talking to a friend who had lamented having lost someone who died said, “Never say of anything that I lost it, say rather that I gave it back.” I have not lost you. Best wishes.
