Our January Touchstones theme is Nonviolence. In honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, this morning’s sermon will explore his powerful and courageous commitment to peaceful social change, and what he had to say to the Unitarian Universalists of his time. We will also honor the UU minister Rev. James Reeb, who answered King’s call to people of faith to stand with him, shoulder to shoulder, in the face of violent reactions to the civil rights movement.
