Curiosity and Chaos: Exploring Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman! – Book Club Gathering & Potluck

Join our November Book Club gathering as we dive into the witty, rebellious, and endlessly curious world of Nobel Prize–winning physicist Richard Feynman through his memoir Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman! — a collection of outrageous anecdotes that reveal both his mischievous sense of humor and his lifelong fascination with the mysteries of the universe.

From safe-cracking at Los Alamos to painting in topless bars, Feynman invites us to question everything, laugh freely, and rediscover the joy of learning for its own sake. Expect a lively evening of laughter, wonder, and good company as we share insights (and a potluck meal!) hosted by Kathy and Greg Feinsinger.

Whether you’ve read every page or just want to hear what all the fuss is about, come prepared for conversation that’s equal parts science, story, and delight.
