"Woof and Warp - The Weave of What's to Come" by Aaron Brown
Why does life, even at its most abundant, remain threaded with struggle? This service reflects on the necessity of contrast—light and dark, ease and tension, belonging and separation—as essential to growth and meaning. Inspired by forests, ancient wisdom, and a brief history of textiles, we’ll explore the idea that conflict and failure are not aberrations to be avoided, but crucial strands in the fabric of existence. Rather than seeking escape or resolution, we’ll consider how living with curiosity, compassion, and resilience--as well as with grief, frustration, and outrage--may be the richest invitation of our shared human journey.

I’d like to share a recent reflection from my blog called “Stop Calling It Resistance.”
It’s an exploration of what we often label as resistance—in ourselves and in others—and what becomes possible when we get curious instead of judgmental. Drawing on IFS-informed language and everyday experience, the piece invites a softer, more compassionate way of understanding our inner lives, especially in times of stress, change, or stuck-ness.
And if you’d like to stay connected as Micha and I move into our next chapter, you’re also welcome to subscribe to my newsletter at the bottom of any page on the site. I share reflections occasionally—when there’s something that feels worth offering.

With gratitude for this community.

Finally, a gentle reminder to read all the way through this email — there are many meaningful gatherings and offerings coming up, and the calendar below is full of opportunities to connect.

Rita Marsh asked that we share this invitation with the TRUU community, as it comes from someone very dear to her heart.

Heather Vesey is offering a one-day seminar/workshop next Saturday, March 7, in collaboration with Bill Redfield, focused on grief, dying, and the practice of living more honestly, fully, and joyfully. Heather describes it as a day shaped by depth, beauty, love, joy, tears, honesty, connection, and community.
Whether you are navigating your own grief, walking alongside someone who is dying, or simply feeling drawn toward a more authentic engagement with life, this gathering may offer something meaningful. Bill brings both deep experience and extraordinary compassion for the human condition, and together they are creating a day that is expected to be rich, tender, and alive.
