Your board of trustees has determined that TRUU flourishes with a minister. Consequently, we will go into ministerial search to find someone to serve our congregation beginning August 2027…….Unless the August miracle happens again in 2026. We are open to many different models of ministry and recognize the need to be creative to find the right fit. We will partner with the UUA to seek their advice and help fashion a job description and compensation package that will set up this search for success.

Local musicians and fans will honor folk-singer Tom Paxton with a singalong this evening, July 8. Bring your voice and/or other musical instruments and light food to share to Rancho Maxine, 2707 Emma Road, starting at 5:30.

Final session of DVD series Long Strange Trip tonight at 7:00 in the TRUU room at the First Street Center
Please join us Sunday July 12 at 5:30 pm at 70 Mountain View Road (Peter and Kate’s house) to support the relief of earthquake victims in Venezuela. Minimum suggested donation of $30. Sue Edelstein and Bill Spence have offered to have a Circle Supper at their home in RVR on Wednesday, July 15, at 6:00. They can accommodate 8 guests. Monday, July 27, at 5:00, Kate Friesen and Peter Westcott will have supper at their house in Missouri Heights for 6 guests. In August we are planning regular services on the second and the ninth, after which we will have two Sundays of worship led by the trustees, followed by a congregational potluck dinner on August 29. There will be no Sunday service August 30. We will have a picnic brunch party on the lawn outside the Calaway Room on September 5.
