Dolly Parton passed away on August 25th. The writer Rebecca Solnit called her "our goddess of kindness" and wrote, "She was love incarnate, and though she looked like a campy love goddess a la Venus on and off the half shell, she was a goddess of the other kinds of love, of empathy, compassion, kindness." Join Rev. Florence Caplow and local music legend Ellen Stapenhorst for a music-filled service celebrating the life and legacy of the one-of-a-kind Dolly.

This Past Sunday ...
We had a wonderful worship coordinated by Sue Lavin. Sean Jeung was our speaker, and we had some forty-five people attend. Mateo Sandate played "Blackbird", and shared a new nature chant after the sermon. He and Liza led us singing "Stand By Me" as the closing hymn. The service is on the TRUU Youtube chanel, @tworiversunitarianuniversalist. You may click the ad below to get right to the video.
