Fellowship Service on the topic of Embracing Possibility by Rob Benedetti
This Sunday is a Fellowship Service, founded in the Unitarian Universalist philosophy of Small Group ministry. We gather with a lay leader in conversations that deepen and expand the ministry of a congregation. Two key focuses are building community and deepening relationships, and the opportunity for deeper spiritual exploration and search for meaning. This month, our Soul Matters Theme is Embracing Possibility. Please, join us!
Please Note: There will be no Zoom or LiveStream and the music will be a cappella
When: Sunday, April 12th at 10 AM Where: Third Street Center, Calaway Room With a cappella music
All are welcome—especially you (and your friends, and their kids!).

TRUU Titbits - Notes, Announcements & Nibbles -
I’ve been sitting with something tender lately: how often we carry grief quietly—waiting for a “right time,” or a clear reason, before letting ourselves feel what’s already there.
This week’s reflection begins with a simple idea: grief doesn’t wait for death. It shows up in transitions, in endings that don’t have ceremonies, in the subtle ways life keeps changing around us. And when we don’t make space for it, it doesn’t disappear—it just goes underground.
This piece is an invitation to turn toward what we’ve been carrying. Not to fix it or rush it along, but to create a little more room for it to be seen, heard, and honored—maybe even together.
If you’d like to read the full reflection, you can find it here:
And if you’d like to stay connected as Micha and I move into our next chapter, you’re always welcome to subscribe at the bottom of any page on the site. I also read and respond to comments—so if something in the piece resonates, I’d genuinely love to hear what it stirs in you.
Finally, a gentle reminder to read all the way through this email — there are many meaningful gatherings and offerings coming up, and the calendar below is full of opportunities to connect.
