TRUU Titbits - Notes, Announcements & Nibbles -
I’ve been sitting with a simple question lately: Where is my attention actually going—and what is it shaping in my life?
In a world that constantly pulls at our focus, this week’s reflection explores attention as something more than a habit—it’s a kind of currency. Every click, every reaction, every moment of focus quietly contributes to what grows in our inner and outer worlds.
Rather than turning this into self-critique, the invitation is gentler: to notice, to get curious, and to begin choosing—just a little more intentionally—where our attention lands.
If you’d like to read the full reflection, you can find it here:
And if you’d like to stay connected as Micha and I move into our next chapter, you’re always welcome to subscribe at the bottom of any page on the site. From time to time, I share reflections from the trail—things I’m noticing, practicing, and sometimes still learning the long way around.
Finally, a gentle reminder to read all the way through this email — there are many meaningful gatherings and offerings coming up, and the calendar below is full of opportunities to connect.

With gratitude for this community,

Bring a dish to share (enough for 6–8, if you can) and come ready for a low-key evening of connection, laughter, and good company around the table. Whether you’re newer to TRUU or a longtime friend, this is an easy and nourishing way to spend a Saturday evening.

This Saturday, March 28, our wider community will gather for NO KINGS – Glenwood Springs, from 1:00–3:00 PM.
The march will take place from 1:00–2:00 PM along Grand Avenue, following a loop that begins near Sayre Park, heads toward 10th Street, and returns to the park. You’re welcome to join anywhere along the route.
From 2:00–3:00 PM, a community rally will be held in Sayre Park, offering a chance to gather, hear voices from the community, and stand together in shared purpose.
At a time when many are feeling concern, urgency, or even grief about the direction of our country, this gathering is one way to step out of isolation and into visible, collective presence. It’s a chance to express our values not just privately, but publicly—alongside neighbors who care deeply about justice, dignity, and the future we are shaping together.
