Your board of trustees has determined that TRUU flourishes with a minister. Consequently, we will go into ministerial search to find someone to serve our congregation beginning August 2027…….unless the August miracle happens again in 2026. We are open to many different models of ministry and recognize the need to be creative to find the right fit. We will partner with the UUA to seek their advice and help fashion a job description and compensation package that will set up this search for success.

In August we are planning regular services, with a congregational potluck dinner on August 29 to inaugurate Forever TRUU, a legacy program. There will be no Sunday service August 30. We will have a potluck picnic brunch party on the lawn outside the Calaway Room on Sunday, September 6, with games and a singalong.

The minutes from the June board meetings have been accepted into the record.

The board next meets on August 18 at 4:00 p.m. in the TRUU office and on Zoom. On August 25, the worship committee meets on Zoom at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome.
