Showing Up for Your Life – Florence Caplow

Mindfulness is the practice of showing up for your life, as it is actually happening (which is the only place to show up). Many of us live in a sort of dream: a perpetually running movie of our thoughts that we tend to mistake for reality, but it is possible to experience your life directly, and this is the beginning of wisdom and freedom.
