This Mother’s Day, we explore how the kind of love many parents feel for their growing children—tender, hopeful, forgiving—can be transformational when extended beyond the family. Parental love sees through mess and willfulness to a deeper beauty and potential. What might happen if we applied that same imaginative lens to others—and to ourselves? Without idealizing motherhood or ignoring the complexity of real relationships, we’ll consider how love guided by imagination can become a form of grace that deepens connection, fosters healing, and helps us see one another whole.
