May Day has many layers of meaning – it is the great pagan fire festival of Beltane; it is “International Workers Day”; it is a distress call (mayday! mayday!); and, this year, “May Day Strong,” a call from labor organizations for “no work, no school, no shopping” on May 1st, in response to what is happening in our country. Rev. Florence Caplow will share a multicolored bouquet of connections inspired by May Day.
