Music Director Jimmy Byrne

“Providing Music for the TRUU services is a creative and thoughtful exercise for me. Each service is a unique weave of spoken word, music and song set around a theme.

The minister selects the hymns for all to sing, and she supports me as I select the rest of the music from a diversity of musical genres (literally, from rock to Bach).

It’s really exciting for me when I can select and perform a song that seems to fit just right, such as when I play a postlude selection that is celebratory and light-hearted, but also pays respect to an important message of the day.”

Religious Exploration Leader Ana Chynoweth

I am excited to be the leader of religious exploration for the youth. This opportunity has allowed me to build a program which is able to grow and change with our children per their needs and the congregation’s needs.

The reason I am excited is simple, I love children! I have always wanted to be in a position where I could use more of my creativity, leadership skills, and be able to build something valuable from the ground up. Serving your children here has allowed me to do this.

Our community of children never stop blowing me away,

I am honored to be a part of their lives! As a wise man once said, “There is no office higher than that of a teacher of youth, for there is nothing on earth so precious as the mind, soul, character of a child.” Rev. William Ellery Channing.
